Sage green with ivory blossom work, and nothing else on the gown. The embroidery runs from the shoulder down one side and stops, which is harder to place well than covering the whole thing.
The colour
Sage sits between grey and green depending on the light in the room. Under warm lamps it reads almost neutral, and in daylight the green comes back.
What it takes
Eight weeks from the confirmed measurements, about three of which are the hand work. It is cut to order, so nothing is altered down from a stock size.
