The almond blossom is worked by hand in ivory thread across the hem of the skirt and again, smaller, across the blouse yoke. It takes about three weeks of the eight on its own.
The cloth
Tussar has a slub in it that catches light unevenly, which is why the blossoms are worked in a flat silk thread rather than a lustrous one. The satin is the lining and the waistband facing, not the face cloth.
What arrives
The skirt, the blouse and a two and a half metre dupatta, cut to the measurements taken at your fitting. Nothing is sold separately.
